Plastonix today announced that REI Global Inc. executed a Licensing Agreement during May to distribute Transformix in the Philippines.
REI Global is based in the Philippines and brings more than a decade of project management experience across the plastics and energy sectors. Over this period, the company has developed extensive relationships within the Philippine business community, positioning it to support market entry and distribution activities.
Under the agreement, REI Global will distribute Transformix to arm’s-length owners of PX42 production facilities operating within the Philippines. REI Global will hold exclusive distribution rights for Transformix in the Philippine market.
The Philippines continues to face a significant plastic waste challenge, generating an estimated 2.7 million tonnes of plastic waste annually, with approximately 20 percent entering marine environments. Multilayer plastics and single-use sachets—estimated at roughly 163 million units used each day—are among the most persistent contributors due to their widespread use and resistance to conventional recycling pathways.
Plastonix views distributor engagement as a key driver of near-term shareholder value and market development. The company looks forward to working closely with REI Global as the relationship develops in the months ahead.
