Plastonix transforms waste plastic into wealth with a simplified, eco-friendly, and economically viable method. Through a collaborative, solutions-oriented process, we use our plastic recycling technology to create profitable new business models for our partners.

Using our patent pending methods, systems, and apparatuses (collectively known as “The Plastonix technology”, we blend our natural, bio-based, advanced, adhesive binding agent (“the Plastonix Binding Agent”) with any petroleum-derived material – including plastics – in a simple mixing unit. As the plastic and the Plastonix Binding Agent blend through a low heat, non-energy intensive, low CO2, non-toxic recycling process, it forms a new type of raw material known as an agglomerate – the Plastonix Raw Material.

Instead of aiming to build, own, and operate large multi-million-dollar facilities, we have developed an innovative, very cost-effective, and diversified model. Our approach involves smaller production facilities that are owned and operated by stakeholders. These facilities use mostly off-the-shelf parts and are strategically located near stakeholder industries such as refineries, plastic manufacturers, and material recovery facilities (MRFs) or are integrated into existing manufacturing or industrial facilities.

We do not own or operate any facilities ourselves. Instead, we operate like a franchise. We help the stakeholder build their facility, supply them with the equipment, sell them the materials they need to process the discarded plastic into the Plastonix Raw Material, and charge a licensing fee for the use of our IP.

At its core, Plastonix is a technology, intellectual property distributor partner to our stakeholders backed by constant R&D.

Design Build

Our partners use our technology to transform one or more plastic types – separately or together – into a new type of raw material that can be repurposed into a durable good or blended back into petrochemical liquids.  By using equipment acquired from Plastonix, our partners own and operate their own Plastonix Raw Material production facility for processing plastic waste.

Each facility is tailored to the customer’s specific needs.   A facility can be a standalone production plant or an add-on module integrated into an existing industrial process. Despite their customized design, all facilities share the same processing principle. Petroleum-derived waste, whether sorted or unsorted, cleaned or not depending on feedstock source, is shredded, blended with the Plastonix Binding Agent, and is extruded into a desired end-use.

Licensing

The Plastonix technology is so disruptive that it provides an opportunity for the plastic waste recycling / recovery sector to reinvent itself with different business and financial models. Using its technology, Plastonix works collaboratively with its partners to design viable business models. Once the partner determines the best way to use the Plastonix technology, it licenses its use.
